This is one of those government outrage stories that makes you really wonder what, if anything, government actually requires of its employees these days.
According to a story in yesterday's Salt Lake Tribune, a South Salt Lake man, whose home was invaded by a skunk, has somehow run afoul of the law enforcement community by moving the very trap used by city employees to catch the smelly little home-invader, into a shaded area on an adjacent lot.
His actions may yet lighten his wallet by about $652 in fines.
The police officer wrote that Turner's explanation about caring for the skunk's welfare "did not make any sense and did not sound like the truth."
What a country, eh?
