Finally, Somebody is Running Against McCain without a "D" After Their Name

Former Ariz. congressman plans run against McCain

PHOENIX (AP) - Former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth says he's planning to run against John McCain for his U.S. Senate seat.

Hayworth told The Associated Press late Friday that he stepped down as host of his radio program on KFYI-AM, a conservative radio talk show in Phoenix. Legally, he wouldn't be able to host the program and be an active candidate.

Hayworth was ousted from his Congressional seat in 2007 after 12 years in office by Democrat Harry Mitchell, and has hosted the radio show for the past few years.

Hayworth says he's not formally announcing a run for the Senate seat, but that "we're moving forward to challenge John McCain."
He added that he's had a wonderful time at KFYI, but "it's time to enter public life again."
I hope Sen. McCain gets blown out of the primary so bad he never recovers. I will always respect him for his service to our country, but that was forever and ten years ago, and he is among the most clueless of the RINOs out there.

If this nation is going to survive as it was founded, democrat-lite has got to go.

I am just sorry Sarah Palin has agreed to campaign for him.

Why John McCain Got His Ass Kicked Last November

I cannot believe I voted for the man, as he is about as clueless about Obama as it is possible to be.

Obama respects the Constitution? Puhleeeeeze! The entire Obama administration has been using our founding document for butt-wipe since 12:00:01, January 20, 2009.

I appreciate your service to our country, Senator McCain, but I think it's time that you considered retiring from the Senate.

McCain Decides Against Sotomayor

As I noted previously, Sen. John McCain was somewhat befuddled as to whether or not he was going to cast his Senate vote to confirm a racist gun-grabber for a seat on the SCOTUS.

He apparently has decided to vote no:

What I find difficult to understand is, what exactly was it that took him so long to make up his mind?

Of course, Sotomayor is going to easily slide right into a seat on the SCOTUS, as the Senate is currently controlled by a party that has all but forgotten the highest law in the nation, but I would prefer that no republicans, not even RINOs like McCain, vote to help put her there.

Nice to see that at least one RINO got this one right.

McCain Undecided on Sotomayor?

Gee, what a surprise:

Sen. John McCain says he is still on the fence when it comes to voting for Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.

McCain says he is examining Sotomayor's record as an appeals court judge to decide whether she understands the limits to judicial power. He voted against her when she was nominated to the appeals court.

A Senate vote is expected this week.

You can read the rest of the Newsmax.com blurb here.

As a freedom- loving Ammurrican, I am having a really hard time understanding what there is to be undecided about when it comes to this racist, gun-grabbing, constitutionally challenged SCOTUS nominee.

To me, it's really quite simple:

Just say no.
When liberty is taken away by force it can be restored by force. When it is relinquished voluntarily by default it can never be recovered. -Dorothy Thompson
