As such, it stands to reason that, once elected, he would gravitate toward like-minded, totalitarian world "leaders," while working diligently to transform America into something completely different, as that is essentially what he repeatedly said he would do throughout the seemingly endless two year long presidential campaign.
Most of us who are truly "plugged in" knew what this so-called Obama transformation was really going to mean for this country should he somehow manage to win the White House, and for those of us who still maintain our love for freedom and liberty, this transformation was going to be decidedly unwelcome.
Sadly, as we approach the 100th day of this national nightmare, our concerns have been realized, and then some.
While the American sheeple have been led around by the nose by the Main Stream Media (MSM) and allowing themselves to be distracted by one national "emergency" after the other, or the latest release of classified information in a effort to score political points with his far-left disciples, Obama has quietly set about dismantling what is left of our free market economy, and replacing with a government-controlled one.
I am not the least surprised at what Obama has been doing, as it is exactly what I expected. What has caught me off guard is the speed in which this country is being transformed into what will ultimately be a Marxist/socialist hell-hole, and a decidedly bankrupt one at that.
For a deeper glimpse into what we may soon be in store for us as a nation, all we have to do is take a look at what Obama's new "friends" are currently up to.
It seems the leaders of Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Honduras, Nicaragua and Venezuela are not exactly happy with the Draft Declaration of the 5th Summit of the Americas. Apparently, Hugo Chavez, along with his fellow members of ALBA, the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (I refer to it as Anything Lefties can do to Bash America) don't feel the draft document sufficiently demonizes free enterprise, so they are refusing to support it and have countered with some ideas of their own:
1. Capitalism is leading humanity and the planet to extinction. What we are experiencing is a global economic crisis of a systemic and structural nature, not another cyclic crisis. Those who think that with a taxpayer money injection and some regulatory measures this crisis will end are wrong. The financial system is in crisis because it trades bonds with six times the real value of the assets and services produced and rendered in the world, this is not a “system regulation failure”, but a integrating part of the capitalist system that speculates with all assets and values with a view to obtain the maximum profit possible. Until now, the economic crisis has generated over 100 million additional hungry persons and has slashed over 50 million jobs, and these figures show an upward trend.Yeah, you get the idea.
Its just another bash-America fest from some far-left Latin dictator types who, like all totalitarians since the beginning of recorded history, have felt compelled to keep the people's minds focused away from the fact that their own leaders are tyrants.
You can find the entire text of their little anti-American rant right here.
It is an entertaining read, to say the least.
