The 2009 Masters

Congratulations to Angel Cabrera for winning the coveted green jacket in what was probably the most memorable (if not the most entertaining) final rounds in all my years of watching what I consider to be the greatest golf tournament on Earth.

His victory came on the second hole of a three-way playoff that included Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry. Campbell fell out on the first hole of the playoff, and Perry, who had gone to the 17th tee with a two shot lead in regulation play, missed the green entirely on the second playoff hole, opening the door for Cabrera to essentially tap in for the win.

I am already counting down the days until the 2010 Masters.
