The End of an Era: Larry Munson Hangs Up the Headphones

Larry Munson, a true living legend in the Bulldog Nation, and who has been doing the radio play-by-play for the Georgia Bulldogs since 1966, has announced his immediate retirement.

This is a truly sad day for Dawg fans the world over. Saturday's during the college football season just will not be the same. Ever.

Larry was truly one-of-a-kind, and the shoes he has left behind will never be filled.

I was truly looking forward to hearing his call of the Georgia-Alabama game this coming Saturday. Sadly, that is not to be.

God Bless You Larry Munson, and thank you for forty-two great years.

Interesting to know.
